How to get to the town of Ibarra from the main Basque cities:
- From San Sebastian-Donostia: Take the dual carriageway, Autovía del Norte, heading for Andoain. Then take the N-1/E-5/E-80 to Tolosa. In Tolosa, take the GI-2130 to Ibarra.

- From Bilbao: First take the A-8 motorway, and then continue along the E-70. This joins up with the dual carriageway, Autovía del Norte, heading for Andoain. Then go along the N-1 and take the Tolosa exit. In Tolosa, take the GI-2130 to Ibarra.

- From Vitoria: Take the N-104 towards San Sebastian-Donostia. Then take the N-1 / E-5 heading for Tolosa-Azpeitia. In Tolosa, take the GI-2130 to Ibarra.

- From Pamplona: Take the A-15 motorway towards Berastegui. This links up with the GI-2130 leading to Ibarra.
